Restore CFPB anti-abuse policy
If enacted, this joint resolution would disapprove the CFPB rule filed May 12, 2025. That rule had withdrawn the CFPB's April 12, 2023 statement of policy on abusive acts. If enacted, you would again be protected by the April 12, 2023 policy. The policy limits abusive acts or practices by financial companies. The change would take effect upon enactment.
