Voids EPA approval for West Virginia haze
If enacted, this resolution would void the EPA rule approving West Virginia's regional haze plan. The EPA rule was published July 7, 2025 at 90 Fed. Reg. 29737. The resolution would make that EPA approval have no force or effect. It does not create a replacement rule or authorize a new federal standard. Regulated polluters and state agencies could face different federal obligations, and residents could see changed air-quality protections depending on later actions.
