Celebrating the 100th anniversary of Pratt & Whitney and its century of leadership in aircraft engines and aerospace innovation. The resolution would honor founder Frederick Rentschler, note the company’s East Hartford headquarters, commend machinists, engineers, technicians, veterans and other employees, and recognize Pratt & Whitney’s role designing, building, and servicing engines and auxiliary power units for commercial, military, and business aircraft and helicopters while highlighting its investments in workforce development, manufacturing, sustainability, and community partnerships that have strengthened Connecticut’s economy.
