Horse businesses keep state board through 2036

Beginning June 1, 2026, the Maryland Horse Industry Board continues in law through July 1, 2036. After that date, it ends unless the General Assembly reestablishes it under Maryland’s Program Evaluation Act. The board and its rules stay in force for horse farms, stables, and related businesses. The act adds no new fees or funding.
