Use private mailbox, but share contact info

Beginning October 1, 2026, Maryland corporations, LLCs, LLPs, and LPs can list a Maryland commercial mail receiving agency (CMRA) address as their principal office. You must have a valid CMRA agreement under U.S. Postal Service rules. If you use a CMRA address, the CMRA must give the contact details from USPS Form 1583 to the Maryland Department or to law enforcement when asked. The law also defines a CMRA as a business the U.S. Postal Service authorizes to accept mail for others.
