2 provisions identified: 0 benefits, 1 costs, 1 mixed.
This law only takes effect if the state budget funds it by June 30, 2025. The budget must reference this act. Without that funding, the act is void and no registry work proceeds.
The Department of Health must design a statewide registry of health care entities. The plan must say who reports and what information they provide. It must set registration fees, which can be tiered. The department must consult key state agencies and stakeholders. It must streamline reporting and enable data sharing across agencies. It must track ownership, funding, contracts, and private equity ties and changes. A progress update is due December 31, 2027. A final report is due November 1, 2028.
