Interest arbitration rights for local officers

Beginning July 27, 2025, law enforcement officers who work for any city, town, or county count as "uniformed personnel" under state labor law. This makes them eligible for interest arbitration and related bargaining rights under that law. Officers at municipal airports remain included. The change applies to officers defined in RCW 41.26.030.
