Beginning July 27, 2025, the insurance commissioner can require health insurers to file yearly reports on primary care spending. Reports must cover calendar years, including past years or expected spending in upcoming years. The request can be tied to plan form reviews or rate filings. The commissioner sets the report format and definitions, considering state primary care targets and Health Care Authority systems. These insurer reports are public information.
