Collective bargaining for fish and wildlife officers

The law extends collective bargaining to fish and wildlife officers below deputy chief. It covers officers, detectives, sergeants, lieutenants, and captains at the Department of Fish and Wildlife. These employees can be represented and negotiate wages, hours, and working conditions. The law is null and void unless the legislature funds it in the omnibus appropriations act by June 30, 2025.
