Beginning June 12, 2026, the state keeps the mine safety technology tax credit in place through December 31, 2030. The credit ends on December 31, 2030. Taxpayers cannot claim it for tax years starting after that date. The law does not change credit amounts or who qualifies before it ends. When the credit ends, tax bills rise for businesses that relied on it.
