More Medicaid funding for 2026 care

West Virginia adds extra money to Medicaid for FY 2026. It provides $174.5 million for medical services from the Health Care Provider Tax – Medicaid State Share Fund (Fund 5090). It also provides $268,451 for Medicaid administrative costs. The money is available for the year ending June 30, 2026, and takes effect on March 14, 2026. This supports payments to doctors, hospitals, and other covered care.
