Beginning June 12, 2026, the law removes the statute that covered mileage and other expense reimbursements for state judges. The clear right to get paid back for these travel and job costs under that section is gone. Any payback after that date must come from other laws, court rules, or agency policies, if they exist. This change applies to judges only and does not change rules for other public employees.
