Summary

Officers on the reserve active-status list must be put in order by how senior they are in the rank they are serving in on active duty. If several officers share the same rank, they are listed by their order within that rank. If an officer’s place on the list came from a temporary promotion or from holding a rank only because of a specific job, then when that ends the officer goes back to the rank and spot they would have had if they had not received that temporary promotion or assignment.
