Finish the milestones listed in the report called "Research Program Plan for Plutonium and Pit Aging," which was published in September 2021. Within one year after the law passed and through December 31, 2030, the Administrator must hold reviews every two years with the Defense Programs Advisory Committee and try to arrange for the private science group JASON to do an assessment by 2030. The Administrator must give Congress every-two-year briefings on progress and the assessment results. By October 1, 2031, the Administrator must tell Congress whether the milestones are done. If not done, the Administrator must explain why, say if a milestone cannot be met, and give new completion dates.
