The Academy must divide the Corps of Cadets into companies for military training. The Superintendent decides the company setup. Each company must be led by a commissioned Army officer. Cadets must do duties in the places and of the types the President orders. The course of study is four years. The Secretary of the Army must set the schedule so cadets are not required to study on Sunday. The Corps must be trained for Army duties, be encamped at least three months each year, and learn all tasks needed in a camp.
