Title 11 › Chapter CHAPTER 12— - ADJUSTMENT OF DEBTS OF A FAMILY FARMER OR FISHERMAN WITH REGULAR ANNUAL INCOME › Subchapter SUBCHAPTER II— - THE PLAN › § 1223
The person who owes money can change the repayment plan any time before the court approves it, but the new plan must still meet the rules in section 1222. Once the debtor files a change, the changed plan replaces the old one. A lender with a secured claim who already accepted or rejected the plan is treated the same for the changed plan unless the change alters that lender’s rights and the lender then changes their acceptance or rejection.
