Title 12 › Chapter CHAPTER 23— - FARM CREDIT SYSTEM › Subchapter SUBCHAPTER V— - FARM CREDIT ADMINISTRATION ORGANIZATION › Part Part C— - Enforcement Powers of Farm Credit Administration › § 2265a
People who are removed, suspended, or banned from running or taking part in Farm Credit System institutions must not hold office or help run many kinds of other financial institutions while the order is in effect. "Person" means a natural person, and can mean a legal entity if the Farm Credit Administration decides so. The ban covers various insured banks and similar institutions, insured credit unions, Federal Home Loan Banks, institutions chartered under this chapter, federal financial regulators, the Federal Housing Finance Agency, and the Farm Credit Administration. An exception lets a banned person work for a specific institution only if the Farm Credit Administration and each appropriate federal regulator for that institution give written permission. Any agency that gives permission must tell the Farm Credit Administration, make the action public, and consult with the other agencies before agreeing. Breaking the rule counts as breaking the original order.
