Federal executive branch departments, agencies, and parts of the government, including independent agencies, must give the Commission any data, reports, or other information it asks for so the Commission can do its job. Heads of those agencies may assign staff and provide services to help the Commission, and they can do that either for free or by charging reimbursement.
