A manager or officer of one bank or bank holding company must not also be a manager or officer of a different, unaffiliated bank or holding company if either has an office in the same primary, metropolitan, or consolidated metropolitan statistical area (as defined by OMB), or in the same city, town, or village or a neighboring one. If one institution has under $50,000,000 in assets, only the city/town test applies.
