A nonbank financial company must register with the Board of Governors within 180 days after the Council makes a final decision under section 5323 that the company will be supervised by the Board. The company must use the Board’s forms, which will ask for whatever information the Board, after consulting the Council, thinks is needed to carry out this part of the law.
