Title 14 › Subtitle SUBTITLE I— - ESTABLISHMENT, POWERS, DUTIES, AND ADMINISTRATION › Chapter CHAPTER 1— - ESTABLISHMENT AND DUTIES › § 107
When a covered Coast Guard law is changed by adding, removing, moving, or renaming a section or larger part, the law also automatically updates any analyses, tables of contents, or similar tables so they match the change. That automatic update does not apply if the change itself (or a clerical change made at the same time) explicitly updates the tables, or if the change says it is not covered by this rule. "Covered Coast Guard law" means: (1) the title that contains this rule; (2) any Coast Guard authorization act that authorizes money to be appropriated for the Coast Guard for a fiscal year; and (3) any other law that specifically says it is covered by this rule.
