Defines words used in sections 15c, 15d, 15e, and 15f. State attorney general means the state's chief lawyer or anyone the state lets bring suits under section 15c, and includes the District of Columbia’s Corporation Counsel, but excludes people paid on contingency fees (paid as a share of money won) or on other contingency bases unless the court fixes the prevailing plaintiff’s attorney fee under section 15c(d)(1). State means states, D.C., Puerto Rico, and other U.S. territories or possessions. Natural persons excludes proprietorships and partnerships.
