If someone breaks section 2101(a) or (b) or a rule under 2101(c), any person with an interest can sue in a United States District Court to stop the violation and to get money for losses. The suit can be filed where the defendant lives, has an agent, does business, or where venue is proper under section 1391 of title 28. The court may order payment of suit costs, including reasonable attorneys’ fees. If the violation also uses registered trademarks of a collectibles certification service without permission, the trademark owner can also use the remedies in sections 34, 35, and 36 of the Trademark Act of 1946 (15 U.S.C. 1116, 1117, and 1118).
