Title 15 › Chapter CHAPTER 50— - CONSUMER PRODUCT WARRANTIES › § 2308
A supplier cannot take away or change an implied warranty for a consumer product if the supplier gives any written warranty for that product, or if at the sale or within 90 days after the sale the supplier makes a service contract that covers that product. Implied warranties can be limited to the length of a reasonable written warranty if the limit is fair and written in clear, prominent language on the front of the warranty (except for section 2304(a)(2) of this title). Any disclaimer, change, or limit that breaks these rules has no effect under this chapter or State law.
