Title 15 › Chapter CHAPTER 57A— - HORSERACING INTEGRITY AND SAFETY › § 3060
The Authority may sign an agreement with a State racing commission to let the State run parts of the racetrack safety program or, if the anti-doping enforcement agency agrees, parts of the anti-doping and medication program. The Authority must decide the State can follow the Authority’s rules and standards. States may not run those parts in a weaker way than the Authority requires. When a case could break both racing rules and federal or state law, the Authority and law enforcement must work together and share information to avoid duplicate work and save resources.
