Title 15 › Chapter CHAPTER 62— - CONDOMINIUM AND COOPERATIVE CONVERSION PROTECTION AND ABUSE RELIEF › § 3611
Anyone harmed by a violation of this chapter can sue in court unless parts 3607 or 3608 limit that right. If someone sues over a breach of sections 3607 or 3609 and can show real harm, the court can award money or other fair relief. A person who has to pay under this rule can get money back from anyone who would have had to pay the same amount if sued alone. Recoverable amounts can include interest paid, reasonable lawyers’ fees, fees for independent engineers and appraisers, and court costs. A defendant can get back reasonable lawyers’ fees if the court finds the lawsuit was frivolous, malicious, or without substantial merit.
