Title 15 › Chapter CHAPTER 88— - INTERNATIONAL ANTITRUST ENFORCEMENT ASSISTANCE › § 6206
Publish proposed text and ask for comment at least 45 days before an antitrust mutual assistance agreement is made. The Attorney General, with the Commission's agreement, must put the proposed agreement text in the Federal Register and request public comment. The same rule applies at least 45 days before making an agreement that amends such an agreement: publish the proposed amendment and ask for comment. Within 45 days after an agreement is made or ends, or after an amendment agreement is made, the Attorney General, with the Commission, must publish the actual text of the agreement, amendment, or the terms of the termination. For amendments, the publication must also point to where the original agreement and prior amendments were published in the Federal Register and explain how to get a copy of the amended agreement from the Attorney General and the Commission. If these publications do not happen as required, the agreement or amendment is not treated as in effect under this law.
