Title 15 › Chapter CHAPTER 89— - PROFESSIONAL BOXING SAFETY › § 6304
No one may arrange, promote, organize, produce, or fight in a professional boxing match unless they follow these safety rules or follow alternative rules from a boxing commission that give the same health protection. Each boxer must have a doctor do a physical exam and say if they are fit to fight, and copies of the exam must be given to the boxing commission. An ambulance or medical staff with resuscitation equipment must be at the site at all times unless a boxing commission later issues a rule after October 9, 1996 that expressly allows something different. A doctor must be at ringside at all times, and each boxer must have health insurance that covers injuries from the match.
