§78nn Tennessee Valley Authority

Title 15 › Chapter CHAPTER 2B— - SECURITIES EXCHANGES › § 78nn

Last updated Apr 6, 2026|Official source

Summary

Starting with TVA’s annual report on Commission Form 10‑K for fiscal year 2006 and after, TVA must file with the Commission the periodic, current, and extra reports and documents that would be required under section 78m if TVA were an issuer of a security registered under section 78l. TVA does not have to register any securities and will not be treated as having registered them. TVA is treated as an "issuer" for purposes of section 78j‑1, except for subsections (m)(1) and (m)(3) of section 78j‑1, and it does not have to follow exchange or association rules made in response to Commission rules under section 78j‑1(m)(1). Nothing here reduces or limits the Board of Directors’ authority to carry out its duties under the Tennessee Valley Authority Act of 1933.
