Title 16 › Chapter CHAPTER 20— - NATIONAL FISHERIES CENTER AND AQUARIUM › § 1051
The Administrator of General Services may create and run a National Fisheries Center and Aquarium in Washington, D.C., or nearby to study fisheries and to display freshwater and marine aquatic life for education, recreation, culture, and science. The Administrator may use federal land if the agency that manages it agrees, or, if that land is not available, may buy, lease, or otherwise acquire the lands, waters, or interests needed.
