The President may, if the Secretary of the Interior recommends it, add to Mesa Verde National Park a strip 260 feet wide along Point Lookout Road from the park’s north boundary to where that road meets the Cortez‑Mancos Road. The addition can include the triangle at the road fork and other nearby public land, plus land given or exchanged under later provisions. Those lands will become part of the park and follow the park’s laws and rules.
