Summary

Petrified Forest National Park must include specific surveyed lands under the Gila and Salt River meridian. Those lands are in these townships and sections: Township 20 North, Range 23 East: sections 1–3, 10–15, 22–27, and 34–36. Township 20 North, Range 24 East: the entire township. Township 20 North, Range 25 East: sections 4–9 and 16–18. Township 19 North, Range 23 East: sections 1–3 and 10–15. Township 19 North, Range 24 East: sections 2–10; in section 11 the northwest quarter and the north half of the northeast quarter; sections 16, 17, 18, 21, 28, and 33; and the southwest quarter of the southwest quarter of section 27. Township 18 North, Range 24 East: sections 4, 9, 13–16, 21–28, and 33–36, and the southwest quarter of section 10. Township 17 North, Range 24 East: the west halves of sections 2, 11, 14, 23, and 26, and all of sections 3–10, 15–22, and 27–33. Township 17 North, Range 23 East: sections 34–36. Township 16 North, Range 24 East: the west halves of sections 3 and 10, and all of sections 4–9. Township 16 North, Range 23 East: all of sections 1, 2, 11, and 12, and the east halves of sections 3 and 10.
