Title 16 › Chapter CHAPTER 1— - NATIONAL PARKS, MILITARY PARKS, MONUMENTS, AND SEASHORES › Subchapter SUBCHAPTER XIV— - CRATER LAKE NATIONAL PARK › § 124
The United States has exclusive control of the land inside Crater Lake National Park. Oregon can still serve court papers and bring civil or criminal cases in the park if the claim or crime happened in Oregon outside the park. Oregon can also tax people, businesses, their franchises, and property on park land. Federal laws that apply to lands under U.S. control apply in the park. People who flee justice and hide in the park are treated the same as fugitives found elsewhere in Oregon.
