You must not destroy, cause the loss of, or damage any resource managed for a national marine sanctuary. You must not buy, sell, possess, move, or ship any sanctuary resource taken in violation of these rules. Do not block enforcement. That means you cannot refuse to let an authorized officer board your vessel (except vessels run by the Department of Defense or U.S. Coast Guard), resist or threaten officers, bribe or harass them, or knowingly give false information during a search or inspection. You also must not break any rule, regulation, or permit under this chapter.
