The Secretary of the Interior may accept title for the United States to a small parcel of land conveyed to William W. Kiskadden by warranty deed number 174403 from Mrs. Arah Chapman, recorded August 24, 1916, in book 339, page 231, Larimer County, Colorado. The parcel is in section 31, township 5 north, range 73 west, sixth principal meridian. It starts at the northeast corner of the southwest quarter, goes south 480 feet, west 200 feet, north 27°30' west 541 feet, and east 450 feet back to the start, containing approximately 3.58 acres. In exchange, the Secretary may give a patent (a government land title) for another part of section 31 described by bearings and distances from local quarter‑section corners (including south 79°00' east 360.9 feet and north 79°22' east 2,673.6 feet), then south 480 feet, west 200 feet, north 27°30' west 541 feet, and east 450 feet to the start, containing approximately 3.5 acres. Land the United States receives, other than the land patented out, must become part of Rocky Mountain National Park and follow the park’s laws and rules.
