Title 16 › Chapter CHAPTER 1— - NATIONAL PARKS, MILITARY PARKS, MONUMENTS, AND SEASHORES › Subchapter SUBCHAPTER XXXVII— - ACADIA NATIONAL PARK › § 343c–3
If the United States gets a certain parcel of land in return, the Secretary of the Interior may give Jackson Laboratory all U.S. ownership rights to a specific 4.632-acre piece of land in Bar Harbor, Hancock County, Maine. The parcel’s borders are described by detailed measurements that follow State Highway 3, parts of Schooner Head Road, some old camp roads, and land once owned by the trustees of Louise D. Morrell. Transferring the title will remove this 4.632-acre area from Acadia National Park.
