Title 16 › Chapter CHAPTER 1— - NATIONAL PARKS, MILITARY PARKS, MONUMENTS, AND SEASHORES › Subchapter SUBCHAPTER XXXVIII— - ZION NATIONAL PARK › § 346a–3
The Secretary of the Interior may transfer about four and one-half acres in lot 3, section 29, township 38 south, range 12 west, Salt Lake meridian to the Utah State Road Commission so the Commission can realign and build United States Highway 91 on whatever terms the Secretary requires. In return, Utah must build an interchange acceptable to the Secretary that provides vehicle access between the highway and Zion National Park. After the transfer, that land will no longer be part of Zion National Park, and the easterly right-of-way line of United States Highway 91 (project I–01–1(1), Washington County, Utah) will be the park’s new western boundary in that lot.
