Summary
Money can be spent to collect oral histories and to preserve, explain, educate, and provide visitor services at the park. Exactly $1,000,000 is provided to buy and care for historical artifacts related to the park. Funds can also be used to buy the properties listed elsewhere in the law. None of the money can be used to run, maintain, or preserve the ship S.S. RED OAK VICTORY.

(a)(1)There are authorized to be appropriated such sums as may be necessary to conduct oral histories and to carry out the preservation, interpretation, education, and other essential visitor services provided for by this subchapter.
(2)There are authorized to be appropriated $1,000,000 for the acquisition and curation of historical artifacts related to the park.
(b)There are authorized to be appropriated such sums as are necessary to acquire the properties listed in section 410ggg–1(e)(2) of this title.
(c)None of the funds authorized to be appropriated by this section may be used for the operation, maintenance, or preservation of the vessel S.S. RED OAK VICTORY.
