Creates the Votes for Women History Trail Route and lets the Secretary of the Interior, through the National Park Service, set up a driving tour in New York that links places tied to the struggle for women’s suffrage. Defined terms: Park — the Women’s Rights National Historical Park; Secretary — the Secretary of the Interior acting through the National Park Service Director; State — New York; Trail — the Votes for Women History Trail Route. The Park and National Park Service will run the Trail. The Secretary must make and share educational materials (like maps, signs, guides, exhibits, and electronic info), work with partners to plan and manage the Trail, create a single symbol to mark it and give rules for using that symbol. With an owner’s permission, stops may include Park units, other places with a clear suffrage link, and related educational or research sites. The Secretary can make agreements, give technical and financial help, and may get whatever money is needed for fiscal years 2009 through 2013 to fund cooperating partners.
