Title 16 › Chapter CHAPTER 1— - NATIONAL PARKS, MILITARY PARKS, MONUMENTS, AND SEASHORES › Subchapter SUBCHAPTER LIV— - EVERGLADES NATIONAL PARK › § 410r–3
The Secretary of the Interior can accept from the Farmers Home Administration (United States Department of Agriculture) a tract of about 4,420 acres inside Everglades National Park in Dade County, Florida. The land is described in a master deed dated December 21, 1962, in a Dade County court case and is recorded in the county records (book 3494, page 457). The land would be managed as part of the park. The transfer can happen only after the Farmers Home Administration’s emergency credit revolving fund is fully repaid for all costs tied to the land, and only when title to the property is held by the United States.
