Title 16 › Chapter CHAPTER 1— - NATIONAL PARKS, MILITARY PARKS, MONUMENTS, AND SEASHORES › Subchapter SUBCHAPTER LX— - NATIONAL MILITARY PARKS › § 426o–1
The Secretary must prepare a plan to preserve and explain Redoubt Brannan by February 1, 1992, and must update the General Management Plan for Stones River National Battlefield by March 31, 1993. The Secretary may provide technical help to the city and to Rutherford County to write zoning rules and other land-use controls that would help protect historic areas next to the battlefield. If those planning efforts show small changes to the map in section 426n are needed, the Secretary may make minor boundary revisions only after giving written notice to the Committee on Natural Resources of the United States House of Representatives and to the Committee on Energy and Natural Resources of the United States Senate, allowing time for public comment, and publishing a revised boundary map or description in the Federal Register.
