States that had troops at the Battle of Fort Donelson may go onto the Fort Donelson National Battlefield to locate and mark the battle lines. Before any marker, monument, or tablet is made permanent, the state must send the proposed locations and marking plans to the Secretary of the Interior and get written approval.
