Lands acquired under section 430kk must be made into a public park called Wilson’s Creek National Battlefield for the use and enjoyment of the American public. The National Park Service, led by the Secretary of the Interior, will run, protect, and improve the park under the Act that created the National Park Service (approved August 25, 1916 (39 Stat. 535)). The Secretary must build and maintain roads, trails, markers, buildings, and other visitor facilities as needed.
