Creates Pipestone National Monument in Pipestone County, Minnesota. The monument covers about 115.86 acres, as defined by the law’s boundary points, and does not include a 0.47-acre right-of-way for the Chicago, Rock Island and Pacific Railway. The National Park Service, under the Secretary of the Interior, must manage, protect, and develop the monument under the Act to establish a National Park Service (approved August 25, 1916), as amended. The right to quarry the red pipestone on the land is reserved for Indians of all tribes, under rules the Secretary of the Interior sets.
