When the United States owns the lands of Fort Boonesborough, Boones Station, Bryans Station, and Blue Licks Battlefield — separate tracts to be joined by a Memorial Highway — and any historic buildings or remains the Secretary of the Interior selects, the President must set them aside for preservation. The area will be named "Pioneer National Monument" to preserve the sites and inspire the public.
