The Secretary can trade federal land managed by the Bureau of Land Management near Steens Mountain, Oregon. The federal tract is about 5,340 acres, and Tom J. Davis Livestock, Inc. will give a private parcel of about 5,103 acres shown on the law’s map in return. After the swap is done, the Secretary may pay Tom J. Davis Livestock $800,000. The Secretary must finish transferring the federal land within 70 days after accepting the private land.
