Title 16 › Chapter CHAPTER 1— - NATIONAL PARKS, MILITARY PARKS, MONUMENTS, AND SEASHORES › Subchapter SUBCHAPTER LXXVIII— - BIGHORN CANYON NATIONAL RECREATION AREA › § 460t
Creates the Bighorn Canyon National Recreation Area so people can use and enjoy Yellowtail Reservoir and nearby lands in Wyoming and Montana, and so the scenic, scientific, and historic features there are protected. The area is based on a map kept by the National Park Service (map number LNPMW–010A–BC, dated November 1964). As soon as practicable after October 15, 1966, the Secretary of the Interior must publish a detailed boundary description in the Federal Register that, as much as possible, matches that map. The Secretary may later change the boundary by publishing an amended description in the Federal Register, subject to section 460t–1(b).
