Title 16 › Chapter CHAPTER 1— - NATIONAL PARKS, MILITARY PARKS, MONUMENTS, AND SEASHORES › Subchapter SUBCHAPTER LXXIX— - INDIANA DUNES NATIONAL PARK › § 460u–11
Allows legally permitted cooling, process, or surface drainage to flow into the part of the Little Calumet River that is inside the Park, while still keeping the Secretary responsible for protecting park resources. The lands added to the Park by the Ninety-fourth Congress, and managing them as Park land, do not by themselves make federal, state, or local air and water pollution rules stricter for property outside the Park, and do not give Indiana any greater power over pollution control than federal, state, or local law already allows.
