The Secretary of Agriculture may sell marketable timber on lands added to Rogue River National Forest by the Act of June 4, 1936, and returned to U.S. title under the Act of June 9, 1916 (39 Stat. 218), if cutting won’t harm water quality or reduce the water supply. Sales must follow national forest rules, and all proceeds must be deposited in the U.S. Treasury’s “The Oregon and California Land Grant Fund” and used as section 10 of the June 9, 1916 Act directs.
