Title 16 › Chapter CHAPTER 76— - NORTHWEST ATLANTIC FISHERIES CONVENTION › § 5607
The Secretary of State and the other Secretary must create a consultative committee to advise them on matters about the Convention. The committee must include people from the New England and Mid-Atlantic Fishery Management Councils, the states on those councils, the Atlantic States Marine Fisheries Commission, the fishing and seafood processing industries, and other experts on Northwest Atlantic fisheries. Members serve 2-year terms and may be reappointed. Members may go to all public Commission meetings, any meetings the Commission invites them to, and meetings of the U.S. Commissioners that are not executive sessions. Chapter 10 of title 5 does not apply to this committee.
